Cabanatuan City
is a first class, urban city located
at the heart of the province of
Nueva Ecija, Philippines. It is
considered the commerce, industrial
and educational hub of the province
and the commercial center for the
eastern portion of Luzon's central
plain, which is heavily farmed in
rice. According to the latest
census, it has a population of
259,267 people in 45,424 households.
It is a bustling city home to over
38,202 (as of September 2009)
registered tricycles, having the
most among the cities in the
country.
